Cycling for sustainable communities

My favorite way to support the environment is by cycling over 100 miles in 2 days each year to raise money for Hazon, a nonprofit organization, based in New York City, that seeks to create healthy and sustainable communities. I rode in their first California ride last May—with breathtaking vistas along the Sonoma coast and over some challenging hills; pedaling across the Golden Gate Bridge while being pelted by horizontal hail; toppling over on the Embarcadero trolley tracks; and, literally undaunted by bruised ribs and hypothermia, making it to the finish line in downtown San Francisco. One of the best days of my life! Can’t wait to do it again (without the hail and bruised ribs, that is)!!! Click here to find out how you can contribute.
